Chloranthus glaber

Evergreen low hight tree.
It is a precious arrangement materials, which produce red and green seeds during cold winter season. During new year celebration, it will be arranged in combination with plum, pine and other seasonal trees. Old leaves should be picked. It would look sharp, if remaining leaves spread into three directions.

Winter daphne

China is the original home for this evergreen shrub. Sweet-smelled flower come into blossom in early spring. It is popular as a garden plant all over in Japan. Each leaf is thick and glossy and about 5-10 cm long. Flowering season is in March to April. About ten to twenty flowers will be out on the point of each spray.
