I wanted to use the leaves of the daffodil to express nature awaking in spring. I ran a wire through the core of each leaf from the base to the tip. Thus I could bend the leaves into shapes that gave them an interesting sense of movement. The pattern of leaves also fit in well with the design on the containers. I gathered baby's breath together, used it as mass and added orange leaves.
